Potts to take a break from Football

It’s with regret that we announce that Louis Potts is to take a break from football to focus on family commitments.

Striker Louis joined the Lilywhites on dual registration from Avro FC last season, following the conclusion of their league campaign.

Louis made 4 appearances last season, scoring one goal. He has made two appearances this season, scoring the winning goal in our league game against Runcorn Linnets.

On confirming Louis’ break from football, manager David Fish told us , “Louis is a huge loss to the squad, but hopefully only for the short term.

“Players make a lot of sacrifices and miss out on a lot of things others take for granted. They are people first and footballers second, and it’s right for Pottsy to take this time to focus on his family.”
