Les Fitton – 1930-2022

We’re deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mossley Legend Les Fitton.

Les was a passionate life long Mossley supporter, who also served the club tirelessly for many years.

Joining the committee in the early 1960’s, he went on to take up the role of Assistant Secretary from the mid 1970s until the late 1980’s before becoming Club Secretary, a role he held until 1997. 

Les was a regular attendee at matches and was well known in and around Mossley and the local non-league scene.

He was a proud Mossley man, and our condolences go out to his friends and family at this difficult time. We will all miss him dearly.
