Stokes leaves Seel Park
First-team coach James Stokes has left Seel Park.
James leaves to return to Glossop North End in a role that will see him take on more responsibility than his current role.
On taking up his new role James told us, “I’d like to thank David, Alex and Lee for the opportunity to coach with Mossley this season, and to Jimmy and Scott for coaching with me. It’s been a pleasure to coach some fantastic people and players and they have everything in place for a great 22/23 season.
“The chairman, Stephen Porter, is a great guy and the team of directors, volunteers and staff have been superb throughout. Finally, the fans at Mossley are magic; you’ve made the highs higher and driven us through the lows. Please keep smiling, singing and supporting, you made every part of the season better.
“Hope to see you all at Seel Park again, James”
We’d like to thank James for all his efforts while with us and we wish him nothing but success in the future; he’ll always be welcome at Seel Park.
