Sass stays at Seel Park!

As our 2021-22 Northern Premier League West Division campaign draws to a close, we’re delighted to bring you the news that Freddie Sass has signed a contract to stay with the club for next season.

Left-back Freddie joined the Lilywhites midway through the current campaign from Tadcaster Albion, making 11 appearances and scoring one goal before an injury left him sidelined for the rest of the season.

On signing his contract, Freddie told us, “It was an easy decision to sign and stay here. From the minute I arrived David, Alex, the players and fans have made me feel so welcome. I feel like I was playing well before the injury and it’s been disappointing to miss out and not help the team but it’s great knowing I’ll be able to help us push on next season now.

“Its a great dressing room to be a part of, the boys all get on, we spent a lot of the beginning of the season in and around the playoff spots and our aim next season is to be more consistent and finish in those spots.”
