Leech joins Craddock’s backroom team!

We’re delighted to let you know that Antony Leech has joined the Lilywhites as a first-team coach.

Antony had a superb career in non-league football before retiring this summer. His twenty-year playing career saw him feature for several clubs, including Curzon Ashton, but long and impressive spells at both Emley and Shelley saw him become a stalwart of the non-league game in Yorkshire.

On confirming the addition of Antony, Alex Craddock told us, “I’m delighted to bring Antony to the Club; he brings a wealth of experience in both playing and coaching. He was Captain at Shelley when I was there as a first-team coach and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. Having had a great playing career, it’s only right he steps into the coaching side now and I have no doubt he will go on to manager one day.

“When I got the job, I knew I needed to bring a coach in and speaking to Leech became a priority. He’s ambitious, hard-working and relentless in what he does – he’s a great addition to the Club.”

Welcome to Seel Park, Antony!
