John ‘Wiz’ Cawthorne – 1957-2022

We’re absolutely heartbroken to have to announce the sudden passing of long-standing volunteer John ‘Wiz’ Cawthorne.

Serving the Lilywhites for decades in a variety of different roles, Wiz will always be remembered for his dedication and passion not just for Mossley AFC, but football in general.

He will be deeply missed by everyone at the club and our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.
