Joe Richards is a Lilywhite!

We’re delighted to announce the signing of defender Joe Richards!

Joe, 24, arrives from Chadderton FC, who he vice-captained to play-off victory last season to earn them a place in this year’s North West Counties Premier Division.

Left-back Joe is based in Oldham and has been at Chadderton for the last four years before joining up with his new teammates at Seel Park.

On capturing his man, manager David Fish told us, “Joe played for me at Chadderton and I’ve tracked his development since. In the past three years he’s grown into a leader and shown a great level of consistency, culminating in being vice captain in their promotion winning season last year.

“I feel he’s a good age to step up and know he has the temperament and quality to be a success at Mossley.”
