Fixtures – as it stands

We have agreed with Trafford that our league fixture at Shawe View tomorrow will not take place.

We will however entertain Atherton Collieries in a friendly at Seel Park, kick-off 1.30pm. This match is all ticket and a maximum of 200 supporters can attend.

In addition, having been approached by Brighouse Town, we have agreed to host them at Seel Park for a league fixture on Tuesday 22nd December, kick-off 7.45pm.

This match is all ticket with a maximum of 200 supporters able to attend. Season ticket holders are guaranteed entry.

Unfortunately, away supporters will not be permitted.

On Boxing Day we welcome Ramsbottom United to Seel Park, kick-off 3.00pm.

Again, this match is all ticket and a maximum of 200 supporters will be able to attend. Season ticket holders are guaranteed entry.

We stand by our statement. We are being forced to be loss making by continuing the league season.

We are still to receive a response from the NPL. These plans are made due to the consequences of not fulfilling fixtures – financial and sporting penalties. We urge the NPL to respond to all clubs who have made their feelings known and help to protect clubs in the long term.

As a club we will continue to conduct our own feasibility reviews on a fixture by fixture basis and act accordingly.
