Eden Bailey joins on Loan!

We’re thrilled to announce the signing of Eden Bailey, who joins on loan from Vanarama National League Side, Altrincham FC.

Forward Eden, 19, started his footballing career as a scholar at Port Vale; after being named in several first team Matchday squads at the age of 16, Eden was named their Youth Team Player of the Year. He then went on to make an EFL Cup appearance against Sunderland and a League 1 appearance against Newport County.

Upon leaving The Valiants, Eden went on trial at Derby County, Nottingham Forest and Wrexham before signing for Altrincham FC.

Eden is no stranger to Seel Park; he has been on loan at fellow NPL West side Hanley Town this season, scoring a consolation goal against the Lilywhites in January.

Eden goes straight into contention for this weekend’s clash with Skelmersdale United.

On finalising Eden’s move, manager David Fish told us, “I’ve seen Eden play three times this season, twice against us and once against Clitheroe, and each time he’s impressed.

“He’s strong, quick, direct and skillful, he poses a real threat and asks different questions to our other forwards. I’m looking forward to seeing him in a white shirt and him helping us to finish the season as strongly as possible.”
