Rothwell is a Lilywhite!

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Joe Rothwell from Prestwich Heys.

Full-back Joe started his footballing career in the Bury academy before joing New Mills aged 16. He featured 64 times for them, winning young player of the season in their 2017/18 campaign.

Bolton-based Joe then signed for NPL West side Colne before joining Prestwich Heys on loan in 2018/19.

He made the loan a permanent switch the following season and has played 65 times for Prestwich Heys, winning young player of the season twice and last season helping them get promoted to the North West Counties Premier Division.
