Welcome To Mossley, Alfie Belcher!

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Alfie Belcher, who joins us from Trafford FC.

Attacking-midfielder Alfie played for Prestwich Heys FC before going on to study and play football in Kansas, America. Upon returning to England, he joined Trafford FC.

Swinton-based Alfie has amassed 69 appearances in the NPL West for Trafford, scoring 10 goals in the process; he’s no stranger to Seel Park having scored a magnificent goal in last season’s 2-2 draw.

On completing the signing of Alfie, manager David Fish told us, “Alfie is a player I’ve been aware of since his Prestwich Heys days and one I tried to sign when he returned from college in the US, before he signed for Trafford.

“He’s always played well against us and is an exciting player who scores and creates goals. He’s different to the midfielders and forward players we have and I’m certain he will quickly become a fan favourite.”
