Shepherd back at Seel Park!

We’re delighted to welcome Will Shepherd back to Seel Park!

Comfortable at right back or in midfield, Will featured 9 times for the Lilywhites last season scoring one goal in the process before moving to fellow NPL West side Colne.

The youngster spent 8 years at the Rochdale AFC academy, before signing scholarship forms for Salford City, where he captained the youth team to the Alliance League Championship. He went on to sign professional terms at the Peninsula Stadium, making his senior debut in September 2019 against Manchester United before injuries and the pandemic lead to him dropping into non-league football with Warrington Town.

Will has featured as a trialist throughout our pre-season schedule and has impressed manager David Fish in our recent games.

On re-signing for the Lilywhites, Will told us, “I’m happy to be back at Mossley and I’m looking forward to the opening fixture of the season.

“I’m hoping to have a positive impact on the squad and bring some quality and energy to the team. I’ve enjoyed pre season training and games and feel ready for the season.”
