Secretary and welfare appointments

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Richmond as Club Secretary and Jill Cummins as Matchday Secretary. Alongside these roles, Mike has also been appointed Adult Welfare Officer for our First Team whilst Jill has been appointed Child Welfare Officer for our Academy side and Assistant Adult Welfare Officer for our First Team.

Both Mike and Jill have been performing duties since the beginning of the season. We’d like to thank outgoing Secretary John Wharmby for his professionalism and diligence during his time in the role of Club Secretary including facilitating a smooth handover to Mike and Jill.

On the new appointments, Director Matthew Hayton said “We’re delighted to have Mike and Jill take up these key positions. They both bring a wealth of experience that strengthens us throughout the club. When John indicated his wish to step back he left big shoes to fill but we’ve found the right people who, like John, care deeply and only want the best for the club.”
