Ryan Shenton signs for Lilywhites!

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Midfielder Ryan Shenton.

Ryan (20) boasts an impressive footballing CV having been a member of the first ever quadruple winning Curzon Ashton Youth Team in 2016-17. He captained Chadderton at age 19 whilst on loan from Curzon before being recalled back to the Tameside Stadium. Ryan scored the only goal on his full debut for Curzon in a 1-0 victory over York City.

Chadderton-based Ryan signed for FC United of Manchester last summer but picked up an injury during pre-season. He ended the campaign with spells at New Mills and Barnoldswick Town, scoring 14 goals in the process.

On joining the Lilywhites, Ryan said “I’m really excited by the challenge ahead and can’t wait to get the season started. Hopefully there will be plenty of goals to come!“
