Post-Match reaction to FA Cup win over St Helens
David Fish gives his reaction to the thrilling 3-0 victory over St Helens Town in the FA Cup.
After a promising pre-season, the Lilywhites played their first competitive game of the season against St Helens Town in front of a 400 capacity crowd, and they did not disappoint.
A brace from man-of-the-match Ryan Shenton, as well as a headed goal from Ben Richardson, who was also named Captain in the absence of Andy Keogh, saw the Lilywhites victorious in a generally dominant display where they created plenty of chances.
The results ensures the Lilywhites put their name in the hat for the first qualifying round of the FA Cup, with the fixture due to be played on the evening of Tuesday 22nd September 2020.
Our next home game is against Ossett United on Saturday 19th September, kick-off 3pm. Capacity will again be limited to 400, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are priced at £8 for adults, £5 for concessions, £2 for 16-17s and £1 for Children.
