Introducing our new club badge
We’re very excited to reveal our new club badge!
Based on our town’s coat of arms, it features a cotton plant representing the industrial past, the river Tame which flows through the town and the symbols of the three counties Mossley is historically associated with – Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cheshire.
On how the change came about, Director Matthew Hayton said “As we worked on celebrating 40 years since reaching the FA Trophy final, we rediscovered just how iconic our old badge was.
“Working with Eden Creative, we’ve retained the key features that tell the story of our town and its heritage. We’re very proud of our history and we want to be a source of pride for our local community in the future.
“Our aim is to represent all that is good about Mossley and be a positive force in the town. With its modern look we want people to see it and feel the connection between the town and its football club.”
