Keaton Mulvey is back at Seel Park!

We’re delighted to announce our first signing of the Summer, Keaton Mulvey!

Keaton joins up with his new teammates having spent the last two seasons with Glossop North End; the sought-after forward impressed for ‘the Hillmen’ last season, notching up 9 goals in 33 appearances.

Mulvey was an integral part of the Curzon Ashton U-18 team that won six games in the 2019/20 FA Youth Cup, reaching the third round. He scored six goals in six games during their cup run.

Following his impressive run in the cup, the teenager signed for Rochdale AFC in January 2020 having impressed during a trial spell in which he scored 5 goals in as many games for their youth team.

Keaton is no stranger to Seel Park; prior to his spell at Glossop North End, he appeared 11 times for the Lilywhites whilst on loan from Rochdale AFC. His most memorable moment coming when he scored the winning goal in a 2-1 win over Ramsbottom United in the FA Cup.

On completing the signing of Keaton, Assistant Manager Alex Craddock told us, “We’re delighted to get Keaton back with us for this season. His quality in possession and work-rate out of possession is something that we need and definitely fits our way of playing.

“We’re looking forward to him scoring more important goals for us like the one against Rammy a few years back.”
