Kain Dean signs for Lilywhites!

We’re delighted to announce the signing of exciting young left-back Kain Dean, who joins from FC United of Manchester.

Kain (18) played for Mansfield u-18s from age 15 until he was 17 before moving to Broadhurst Park last season.

The Shaw-based defender recently impressed fans with his performance in last weekend’s friendly at Avro.

On capturing Kain, manager David Fish told us “Kain trained with us a few times last pre-season before joining FC United, and in that short time I could see his ability. When it became clear that he wasn’t going to get the playing time he wanted this season and that FC United were willing to let him go, I was quick to move.

“He’s young, athletic, technically good and a good talker. He’s also very ambitious and provides balance for us down the left side. I’m looking forward to working with him this season.”
