Igwenwanne is a Lilywhite!

With the 2023-24 NPL West Season fast approaching, we’re delighted to let you know that Joel Igwenwanne has signed for the Lilywhites.

Joel was born in Germany, but moved to England aged 10. A keen footballer, he joined the academy at Sheffield United. After leaving Bramall Lane, the young full-back joined a football college at Hyde United before signing for ‘The Tigers’ for the following season.

Last year, Joel (18) was dual registered to Abbey Hulton where he made over 20 appearances in their NWCFL division one South campaign.

Igwenwanne has featured throughout pre-season and has clearly impressed manager David Fish enough to sign him for the coming season.
