Hickman signs for 2022-23!

We’re delighted to announce that midfielder Kane Hickman has signed a contract to stay with the Lilywhites for the 2022-23 season.

Having originally joined from Droylsden FC Kane’s energetic performances have quickly mad him a fan-favourite at Seel Park. The midfielder has made 47 appearances in a Mossley shirt, scoring two goals in the process.

On confirming the signing of Kane, manager David Fish told us, “Kane is a big player for the club; wholehearted, honest, hardworking and a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s the kind of player fans loves; and for good reason.

“His performance at Glossop when he covered every blade of grass and scored the second goal shows what he is capable of. His workrate and energy is infectious and a massive part of how we want to play the game.

“He’s also a very talented footballer, easily overlooked at times, but he has good vision and technique. Keeping him at the club for another year was important to us and I’m delighted we’ve done that.”
