David Fish welcomes new additions to coaching team

As preparations continue for the return of football to Seel Park, David Fish has added three new faces to his coaching team for the coming season.

James Stokes and Scott Thompson join as first team coaches, whilst Jack Varey joins as analyst.

James and Scott both join from Glossop North End, where they were also first team coaches working under former Lilywhites Manager, Peter Band.

Jack Varey joined the club as analyst during the latest lockdown and has been working with the first team for the recent friendlies, and will continue his role for the coming season.

Discussing his latest appointments, David Fish said, “From first meeting James and Scott, it was obvious they have the same beliefs and ambition as the current management team. They really wanted to understand our philosophy and principles, and immediately were able to provide some thoughts and challenges.

“Increasing the size of the coaching team was important as it allows us to be more focussed on different areas of the team, as well as spending some time one-to-one with players.

“With their knowledge of the NPL, both James and Scott are already starting to show their value and I’m sure the players will enjoy working with them as much as I already am.”

Welcome to Seel Park, James, Scott and Jack!
