Crawford signs for the Lilywhites!

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Jamal Crawford, who joins the club having recently left 1874 Northwich.

At 26 years old, Jamal already has an impressive footballing CV; starting at the Burnley FC academy, he stayed at Turf Moor through to the U-23s before moving to the Welsh Premier League, representing Llandudno FC. After a season in Wales, he made the move to the English non-league football pyramid where he has represented several clubs including FC United of Manchester, Chester and Curzon Ashton in the Conference North as well as NPL Premier division sides Hyde and Bamber Bridge.

The Manchester-based winger has most recently been at 1874 Northwich for the last two seasons. During the 2022/23 season he moved to Runcorn Linnets where he was part of the side that made it the the play-off final before moving back to Townfield during the closed season.

Jamal made his first appearance for the Lilywhites yesterday, coming off the bench in our 1-0 defeat to Leek Town.
