Connor Hughes signs for Lilywhites

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Connor Hughes, who joins having recently been with Daisy Hill.

Striker Connor has bags of experience in the NPL having had a prolific spell at Witton Albion, where he scored 15 times in the 2023/24 season.

Connor started his footballing career at Oldham Athletic where he went on to make 8 appearances before signing for Hyde United. After an impressive spell with ‘The Tigers’ he moved to Halifax Town where he made 41 appearances. Following a couple of loans, he went on to sign for Curzon Ashton and Ashton United before moving to Witton where he scored 23 goals in 44 games.

On signing for Mossley, Connor told us, “I’m really looking forward to getting started at Mossley, it’s a club that have shown interest in me for a number of years and I’m buzzing to finally be here and help the team with goals, leadership and experience. Having trained last night it’s clear we’ve got a good young group and quality young manager and coaching team.
