Brenden Johns joins backroom staff!

We’re delighted to let you know that Brenden Johns has taken up the role of First Team Goalkeeping Coach at Seel Park.

Stalybridge-based Johns joins from North West Counties outfit Northwich Victoria and brings a wealth of experience with him, having coached in Mexico City as well as at the MLS academies for Chicago Fire and Houston Dynamos.

Returning to England in 2018, Brenden (31) earned his FA Level 2 Goalkeeping Coach and UEFA B Outfield Coaching awards and has worked with Moston Juniors U-21s, Cheadle Town U-23s and Curzon Ashton U-18s before joining Northwich Victoria last summer.

On joining up with David Fish’s squad, Brenden told us, “I’m looking forward to jumping straight into the action; to push on and help achieve a place in the play-offs. I’m excited to be here, and I can’t wait to meet everyone at the club, including the fans this Saturday!”
