Ashworth departs Lilywhites

Assistant Manager, Lee Ashworth, has made the decision to step down from his role at ‘Emmaus Mossley’ Seel Park.

Lee joined the Lilywhites in June 2020 with Manager David Fish and has played a huge part both on and off the pitch in the last two seasons, providing some memorable moments along the way.

On making the decision to step away from his role for non-footballing reasons, Lee told us “This has been an extremely difficult decision to make. I’d like to thank everyone for all the memories. I certainly won’t be a stranger and will still be at as many games as possible.”

We’d like to place on record our thanks for the hard work and dedication Lee has put into his role for the last two seasons. We wish him nothing but the best for the future, he will always be welcome at ‘Emmaus Mossley’ Seel Park.
