We’re celebrating being a Co-op Membership cause again!

Last weekend we celebrated once again as we received an incredible £2,530.11 from Co-op members to improve the wellbeing of our community by making football more accessible in Mossley. It was an extra special weekend for communities up and down the country as the Co-op celebrated giving away over £100m to local community causes.

The good news doesn’t stop there though as we have once again been selected to be a community cause!

Our community cause this year is looking to build on the fantastic start we’ve made in producing and offering a community garden for use by local groups and schools.

We will work in co-operation and partnership with local groups, ReCreate, Incredible Edible Mossley and Muddy Buddies to create the opportunity for learning and fun with local schools. We also want to promote physical and mental well-being and show that Mossley AFC is here for the whole community.

How does it work?

It’s really easy! All you have to do is become a co-op member in-store or online. Select Mossley AFC as your chosen cause and then swipe your card when you shop at any co-op. 2p out of every £1 you spend on co-op goods and services will go to our community fund.
