Football prepares for the return of fans
In welcome news to non-league clubs, the FA have today released updated guidelines on a “phased and limited” return of supporters for clubs from step 3 of the non-league pyramid. The statement outlines the guidance for how we can welcome fans back to Seel Park in the not-too-distant future.
Reacting to the FA’s release, Club Director Matthew Hayton said, “It’s great that we’ve finally got some guidance to work to that means we can welcome supporters back to Seel Park.
“We know it’s been frustrating not knowing. We’ve been busy planning for this news but ask that everyone bears with us whilst we work out the finer details.
“The safety of everyone visiting Seel Park is the most important thing. This does mean a number of changes on matchdays including guidance that will need to be followed. Your welfare is at the front of our minds.
“We also know that when we’re back together, be it singing in the Park End, admiring the hills from the main stand or watching through a window stood next to a radiator to prevent frostbite, it’s going to be very special and we’ll all appreciate it more than ever.”
