Declan Evans stays at Seel Park!

Rounding off a fantastic week, we’re thrilled to say Declan Evans has committed to the club for the coming season!

A product of the youth academy at Rochdale AFC, Declan (21) joined us from Chorley in 2017 and has so far made 105 Lilywhite appearances, scoring two goals.

A firm favourite amongst supporters and teammates, Declan picked up several awards during the previous two seasons including players’ player of the season in both 2019 and 2020.

On securing Declan’s signature, Manager David Fish said “I’m delighted. Dec has had a lot of interest from clubs at our level and higher which you would expect for a player of his quality.

“What’s been obvious is that Dec is enjoying the training and has a real affinity with the club. He adds real presence and quality to the heart of the defence and will be a big part of this team.”
